Disposal of members’ model railway estates
The Committee gives notice that the Austrian Railway Group can only give very limited assistance in regard of the disposal of member’s model railway items in the event of their death.
It cannot undertake to provide valuations, clearance, transport or storage of collections for the purpose of probate or sale, and cannot make recommendations regarding suitable traders to contact.
The group will allow executors of the member’s estate to offer collections for sale at its Annual General Meeting, taking note of the above provisions. The ARG will charge the normal 10% commission for second hand sales.
Members are therefore advised to make sure that they have made suitable arrangements for their collection to be dealt with appropriately in the event of their death.
